That’s the feeling of a woman who is totally overwhelmed and also totally excited about it all. I am so grateful to have had so many opportunities to work and play out of town this past year, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t also grateful to be home now! There’s something so wonderful about sleeping in your own bed, you know? 

That doesn’t mean I don’t have fun news to share though! First up: have you watched The Girls on the Bus yet?! Not only is it an excellent exploration of female friendship in the messy, chaotic, vital world of journalism, but did I mention I’m also in it? That’s right! I shot 6 of 10 episodes and my character Margaret made it into 5. She’s blunt, brash, very good at her job, and has great hair, if I do say so myself. I think you’ll like her! It was truly a joy to work with this cast and crew and while we don’t have any word about whether we’ll be renewed for season 2 just yet, we can keep hoping. I’m so delighted to have been trusted by the team at Macmillan Audio and the authors to bring these stories to life. It’s been a blast to develop my narration muscles over this past year, and I’m really enjoying this method of storytelling. It’s been a wonderful challenge to learn how to moderate my voice in this new way and to channel my creativity into this medium. I can’t wait to do more!

Is was such a privilege to narrate The Fall of Roe: The Rise of a New America, a debut tome from New York Times journalists Elizabeth Dias and Lisa Lerer. It’s an incredible, nonpartisan deep dive into the untold story of the plan to overturn Roe v. Wade, and I learned so much while reading (and from speaking with the authors). I had such a blast recording this hilarious graphic novel series written by John Patrick Green. I think young readers will really dig this very silly spy mystery!
